that movie is on tv right now.

the song that plays in the opening credits is "500 miles" which makes me think of my friend Marguerite, who coincidentally is in town and we're going to get together tomorrow for the first time in oh say... 10 years??

also wrote about the peculiar nature of the missed communication/ connection between characters in this movie one year ago (almost exactly.)

something kind of nice about this feeling right now. like one of those cliche "i've come full circle" moments. i looked back at that blog entry from 10.07.08 to re read what i'd written about benny & joon and everything else.

seems like so long ago...

i'll be better about blogging. the way i used to.

without going into too much detail i'll just say that it went well and my ever looming sense of self doubt was blown away for a while...

apparently i am making some "smart decisions" with this new piece.
